The Amazing Race

The Amazing Race is the only show that I follow with gusto. I will not miss a show.

This last season was especially exciting for me because it showcased all returning teams. My favorite team of all the seasons was on again… The cowboys!

These brothers are the best. They knew how to race; lots of hard work and lots of fun!

Leading up to Walker’s birth, I started having dreams that Jet and Cord were actually Griffin and Walker. My two sons were battling it out on The Amazing Race and I couldn’t have been more proud.

(I probably took it a little too personal when they got kicked off, but I was 9 months pregnant at the time…that will be my excuse for now!)

As I anticipated to see what Walker would look like, you can only imagine how thrilled I was to get my little red!

I sure love MY “cowboys”

Big Brother

Griffin is taking his increased responsibility as a big brother pretty seriously. He wanted to go outside and mow the lawn, but this is all he wanted to wear and he wouldn’t leave the house without his hat.

Walker

Walker Nash Watts was born Thursday, May 12th at 3:44PM.  He weighed in at a whopping 7 lbs 10 oz and was 21.9 inches long.  Everything went fantastic and we made it home yesterday, just barely after the 24 hour mark.  Molly’s cousin Isaac made this amazing picture to welcome him home.  Thanks Ike!

Walker has been incredibly easy so far.  He is very calm, we really haven’t heard him scream yet, which is hopefully a trait he can keep knowing the older brother he is going to deal with every day.

Griff was a little leery when he first came to visit, he thought the baby was crying so he was signing cry.  As I mentioned above, Walker really doesn’t cry so I think Griff just thinks that’s what all babies do.  But he caught on and went over to check things out and has been so sweet his new little brother.

We got to take him home in his own personalized blanket, thanks Mama.  Walker already has a few amazing blankets from his grandparents, we can only hope that Griff doesn’t steal them because we all know how much he loves his blanks.
