Brotherly Love

When Griffin realized it was easy for him to climb into Walker’s crib, he decided that he should do it every time Walker wakes up, be it nap or morning…. or when he is sleeping. Luckily I have only caught him in there once when Walker was asleep, and he stayed asleep. Griff took his blanket in the crib with him after he woke up (early) from his nap and just laid there. I heard his little diaper swish by the monitor, thank goodness.

But now it is a little routine for us to go in when Walker wakes up and let Griff crawl in to lay by “Gocker” and play for a little bit.

Tub Time

Tonight for Family Home Evening, we studied that “Successful… families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance and forgiveness” – The Family: A Proclamation to the World.

I decided to hit two birds with one stone. I was recently called into the Young Women and I have started the Personal Progress Program, again. So as part of one of my experiences, we focused on Prayer. We reviewed the story of Enos for Griff and discussed how faith can strengthen our prayers.

For the activity, we had the boys first joint Tub Time.

The way that these two boys interact now makes me so excited for the life ahead of us! They adore each other and I adore them.

For Family Home Evening tonight, Griff taught us that “Jesus Christ Created the Earth for Me”. We colored a few pages and watched this video.

I’m grateful for the small and simple truths that I get to teach my children. They are powerful and keep me grounded!

“Doing the things that matter most, will lead us to the Savior of the world.”

Swimming Boys

We took Walker swimming for the first time.

The Boys had a great time!

Isn’t it funny that these two boys are brothers?

Notice the swimsuits they each are wearing.

That’s totally normal for your 2 month old to be wearing a bigger size than your 21 month old right?

Look out Griff. Walker is going to be able to keep up with you sooner than you think!

I am so glad they have each other!
