Griff is 2!

His actual birthday is on Wednesday, the 26th, but we decided to celebrate with a fun kickball game the Saturday before.

Everyone had tremendous kickball form.

Walker boy cannot wait until he can have a turn!

Big thanks to everyone who came. We had a blast and Griff keeps asking to kick the ball and blow out more candles!

Vertuccio Farms

Tillman was nice enough to call and invite Griffin to go to Vertuccio farms, which is a “Pumpkin Patch/Farm” where there are all sorts of fun things for kids to play on.  They were also nice enough to let us join them for the adventure.  Below they are planning out their activities for the day.

1. Find the biggest tires around and climb all the way to the top.  Check.

2. Hop around on the blow up horses.  Check.

3.  Get lost in the hay maze.  Check.

4. Most importantly, jump on the big blow up mound thing and somehow avoid any serious injury.  Check.

5. Take a little break with Uncle Parker to relax and enjoy the cooler weather.  Check.

Thanks T.  It was a great day.

5 Months

Walker turns 5 months tomorrow. He is a rolling maniac. He will not stay on his back for more than a few minutes. Over the past few days his bottom teeth have popped through. And don’t even think about eating in front of him. He starts kicking his legs and fake coughing or grunting to get some attention/steal a bite.

If you ask Griff who his best friend is, he will say Walker. Good choice Griff. Who else would let you crawl and lay all over him and let you give him slobbery kisses without one noise or motion of disapproval. Griff will steal something from Walker and say… “Thank you Walker.” And Walker will just smile. We aren’t sure how much longer this will last. But with his temperament, again, Griff has chosen his best friend wisely. These two will compliment each other famously.

Thank you for coming to our family Walker Nash… Mom sure loves you!

Conference Weekend

Tunnels, Sweats, Cinnamon Rolls, Family, Laughing, Learning, Loving

It amazes me that some of my toddler’s first words were President Monson, Eyring and Uchdorf. Not only were they some of his first words, they are remembered, pointed out and asked for on a regular basis. When each of these brethren stood up to talk during Conference, my Griff recognized and listened to them. Obviously, he didn’t sit for the whole time, but knowing Griffin, you would be impressed with his patience, love and reverence for the Prophet and Apostles of the Lord, Jesus Christ.

We can’t wait for April’s Conference.
