Morning Walks

With the weather cooling down as of late, Molly has taken the boys for a lot of morning walks.  I heard a lot about these walks so I decided to tag along one morning to see what the big deal was.

First things first, need to make sure Walker is secure in his seat before pushing the button to cross the busy street.

And we definitely can not miss saying hi to the American flag, the purple flag, and check to see if the dog is by the RV to jump up so we can see his head above the cinder block wall.  Unfortunately on this day, the dog was nowhere to be found.

Next, of course, are the ducks in the canal.  As soon as Griff came around the corner, the ducks came running.  They followed him all the way up the path in hopes of getting more bread.

And now for the grand finale.  Off to feed Patches, Griffin’s favorite horse.  Griffin loves to give Patches all the apples he can handle, but not without testing the apple himself to make sure Patches will like it.

All of this makes for one very satisfied little boy.  Thanks mom.

This is the Polar Express

Griffin called Tillman over to read “The Polar Express” and then watch the movie.

We wanted to kick start the Holiday Spirit over here.

You can’t watch without having some HOT CHOCOLATE….

Or so I thought. But Tillman didn’t like it. And Griff was ok with that because he drank his cup after.

Thanks for coming over T-man. After we dropped you off, Griff wouldn’t stop begging for you. We are lucky to have you!

Park Day

On Veterans Day it was perfect weather…. perfect park day weather. We called the Farnsworths to tell them we were going to the park right by their house if anyone wanted to come play for a bit. One by one all four of the kids showed up to play with my boys. Talk about spoiled! I thought Ike would be the only one available to meet us, but the tween and teens made time for us on their day off too!

Affectionately known as “Griffindor”

and “Chubba Da Walk” by the Farnsworth Clan.

Will Move for Food

Do you remember the post I did when Griff started walking? He was motivated by the cinnamon roll I was holding out for him. Well, for Walker Boy, it is the same thing. Griff had a bowl of green beans he was munching on while reading books and Walker started doing his usual grunting because he wanted some, but then he started scooting forward. Now that he knows that he can move…he doesn’t stop.

Walker is 5 days shy of 6 months and he is MOBILE!
